Rock textures are really hard to do with photogrammetry. Mostly because in the real world there are few of such surfaces and they are usually hard to access. Furthermore, most of the features of a rock are really low frequency which makes it really hard to tile.
I had made a few scans of rocks several months ago but didn't do anything with it because I thought it was impossible to extract a good texture out of it, I'm glad to see I was wrong!
It took me quite some time to unfold all these rocks and then make the whole projection tile.
