I was recently on site scanning roman statues when I was struck with an idea. I pictured the statue I was currently scanning lost in a thick and messy forest.
Thanks to the huge forest collection in Megascans it only took me about 5 hours to build the whole scene from scratch.
It was also a great opportunity to try out Ray Tracing in UE 4.22. The visual improvement is massive, global illumination really does a lot. However I still think the performance cost is far too high.
