Little Paradise

I have been doing an uncountable amount of render spheres for the past few years, but rarely got around to build a fully fledged scene.
So here is something in between!
It started as a challenge for me to build realistic water in UE4, something that kept me frustrated for years.
The ground texture was created using Quixel Mixer and the vegetation is part of the Megascans library.
The fish has also been scanned and animated by Daniel Lindblom : https://www.artstation.com/sushifisk

The whole system is controlled by rotating the directional light.
Everything is handled in the material, no blueprints are involved.

The ball is divided in 3 elements, the floor, which is a simple mesh, the volume which is a fog system and the surface, translucent and tessellated
